Surprisingly so this isn’t like most liquid lipsticks that I’ve experimented with. This liquid lipstick is creamy and hydrating and it doesn’t dry out quickly. It doesn’t require a steady hand to ensure that every line is perfectly straight ‘or else’, it’s forgiving and the colour pay off is wild. I applied a full mouthful of lipstick, washed my face & while applying toner I wiped half off just to see what would happen; I rubbed my lips back together and the colour was just as opaque as before… k what?!

Demi-Glace is a chocolatey colour with a slightly purple undertone (very slight), I feel as though that additional coolness makes it a universal shade. Had this colour been warmer I could see it looking too yellow/reddish on most people. Initially, I was unsure if I could see myself wearing this regularly so I applied it for the day and tried to determine if it felt or looked un-natural. I didn’t feel uncomfortable wearing it, it gave me some 90’s grunge vibes that I was seriously into, it lasted and felt light. Stamp of approval.

When I first applied this I didn’t like it because of the smell (it has a very lipsticky smell, I was also sick which may have affected my nose buds lol ), it turned me off completely; luckily I powered through and discovered this product is awesome. So many liquid lipsticks just require too much focus; this one I can apply it, rub my lips together and it looks even. Even my cupids bow is even! … Straight up witchcraft.
Maybe I’m one of the few people who weren’t aware of this product but seriously this may be a new favourite.
Try it, and if you don’t love it tell me why because I really couldn’t find any major flaws.
This formula sounds amazing! I don’t think this is a shade that I would usually opt for but I’m definitely going to check out this formula x
