I don’t own many items of Kat Von D beauty, but those I have I like. The colours all possess a unique quality. This post is about the colour Wolvesmouth, it has since been discontinued so I hope you don’t love it too much! However, if you’re looking for a similar colour click here.
It’s a purple/burgundy shade with the tiniest shimmers of gold. It’s really pretty and pairs well with a simple eye or something a little smokier.
The formula is creamy and applies very uniform. It does dry out ever so slightly after a little bit of time but it’s not overly bothersome. It’s long lasting but I wouldn’t wear it without lip liner. Due to its creaminess, it does have some potential to run a little. one of my favourite aspects of this lipstick is that it would look beautiful on so many skin tones.
The brand is cruelty-free, Kat von d is vegan and is such a devout animal lover that she’s even been featured on the cover of a vegan focused magazine.
She has been tattooing since she was 14, and she got into a shop at 16.
“The artwork on my packaging was something I painstakingly micro-managed— for example, I treat it like a tattoo, taking into consideration the muscle structure and seeing where the line lands on the existing body,”- Kat Von D
“The perk of being a girl is being able to wear makeup and dress up. It’s another artistic outlet. And the 45 minutes it takes me to get ready is very therapeutic for me. It’s hard to start my day without that.”- Kat Von D
