Review: Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Mask

I have an up-down battle with my skin and it’s a really emotionally exhausting thing. Basically, I hate my skin, I try really hard not too but it’s nearly impossible for me to stop. Last time I was at the Glossier pop shop in downtown Toronto I picked up so much stuff, including (but obviously not limited too) the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack Mask (seriously though… say that five times fast) . This is a detoxifying mask that feels like a very gentle glass of green smoothie for your skin.

I think that it always takes more than one try to really get familiar with a product and so it’s really difficult to determine if you like it right off the bat. This was one of those products for me.

Here’s the problem with Glossier products, if you’re expecting some magical reveal the first time you use it… you’ll be disappointed. I feel as though these products have such a great following because they’re effective products that work with consistency.

Their following understands that “Rome wasn’t built in a day”

Check out our Youtube page to see the fun we had with this mask. Words don’t always do it justice.

But wait! Below are some snapshots from my joyous journey with this face mask. From the simple clay texture to the weird wet-but-dry pebbling, and to finally the velvety soft texture my face has post mask.

Prior to masking my complexion was uneven along my chin and around my nose, gorgeous.
during mask
While masking the formula separated without actually drying… weird!
after mask
After Glossier’s mask, my complexion was much more uniform and velvety!

This was my experience with this Glossier mask, I’m curious to try the others in their collection.

If you’ve tried any of the Glossier products I’d love to hear your opinions!
