FASHION Magazine – Product Win! Over $250+

So recently my broke ass self was flipping through some magazines. I’m talking like 3-5 different magazines. Flipping through, I kissed my shamrock and rubbed my rabbits foot that I would find some new topics that interest me.
I kept stumbling onto giveaways and “this reader won this and that reader won that”, naturally my inner monologue went something like this “I want to win something [full stop]” . I don’t consider myself a particularly lucky person. But you can’t win the lottery if you don’t buy a ticket.
Looking at what the other readers wrote and what the magazine looked for I decided to “enter”. After thoroughly having read and formed an opinion on the 40th anniversary issue I wrote in my review.
Having been the Fashion Columnist at my college in London, I figured it was worth a shot, it went as follows:

Needless to say I definitely did a happy dance when I read Noreen Flanagans e-mail.

Dear Christina,
Thanks for your lovely note! I was hoping that readers would welcome/enjoy the break from images of celebrities! It was such a fun project to work on and it’s so encouraging to hear that it was well received. Thanks for taking the time to write and thanks for your support of the magazine.

Kind, straight-forward, and personalized just enough. If i may say so, Noreen writes good e-mail.
Afterwards her assistant e-mailed me informing me that I had been chosen as Reader Of The Month!
