Advice for Recent Graduates

I don’t know if I’m the most qualified person to write this kind of post but in hindsight since graduation, I’ve been on a different path than most people so this is my two cents.

You’re done school, now what?
Do you get a job do you take time off?
Should you take the safe option?
What happens if you chase your passion?

There are so many questions you’ll be asking yourself now that you’re done school but what’s important is to go with your gut. I know it seems cliche but no matter what path you decide to take it will be great if you make it. If you put in the work and the time you can make anything amazing.

I KNOW lots of people close to me and not, think my approach to life isn’t traditional or safe, or smart, but that’s their opinion. If I commit myself to something I can accomplish anything. I’m not telling you to be an entrepreneur, I’m not telling you not to be, I’m just telling you to give it 110%, believe in yourself, trust yourself and you can accomplish so much.  One of my favourite quotes to capture this intention is by the author Roald Dahl.

“I began to realize how important it was to be an enthusiast in life.
[…] if you are interested in something, no matter what it is, go at it at full speed ahead.
Embrace it with both arms, hug it, love it and above all become passionate about it.
Lukewarm is no good. Hot is no good either.
White hot and passionate is the only thing to be.”

This is my little slice of advice.

Cheering your efforts along,
