Review: Pixi H20 Skin Tint

Summer is the time to go light on any sort of foundation, it just melts off and you end up looking caked. I originally bought this product because I’m constantly going from my house to my ex-boyfriends (yes we broke up) and I try to avoid carrying twice the product if I can. I figured this would be a great way of getting some moisture and some coverage without feeling like I needed the help of a BeautyBlender. This product might not be for you, depending on the coverage you’re looking for.

The Promise

As per Pixi by Petra this product is a “Water-based tinted face gel that evens out skin tone and gives the complexion a flawless no-makeup look”

Results

Overall makeup application was super easy, only requiring the pads of the fingertips. First start by applying a little bit on the main areas of the face: forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose. Gently transfer the colour around your face evenly and finish by gently tapping the colour to blend. Really buildable coverage by (obviously) the quantity you apply and how thinly you apply it.

Ignore my ridiculous eyebrows. LOL!

Opinion

Very light, almost like a gel/mousse, it felt so refreshing when applied and I could barely feel it for most of the day – great for summer. Highly recommended, pretty straightforward product. They only have 3 shades so very limited colours. Overall though I really like it and love that it keeps my skin hydrated, plump and gives a slight airbrushed effect. Great for the fuss-free!
