#NoBareLipsNovember Day TwentyTwo: Black Cherry

Burberry Beauty is so underrated. I’m really excited to share this product with you!

This is such a popular colour, Black Cherry Liquid Lip Velvet. The first time I applied this product I didn’t think much of it. It was nice… cool. (well actually a makeup artist was doing my makeup)

I’m going to let Burberry describe this product in the truest terms :

“A statement-making matte cream colour with a comforting, whipped texture. Developed with a new, innovative formula that combines rich pigment, smooth application and a whipped, creamy texture to create a bold, velvet finish that lasts for up to eight hours. The comfortable, non-drying formula keeps lips supple and moisturised during wear, ensuring the colour does not dry, fade or crack”

I’ve never had anyone teach me how to do my makeup, I just figure it out as I go along. This lipstick applied so creamily and velvety, this may be my favourite product of November. I just felt as though it has such a variety in terms of application techniques. You could either apply in such a way that the edges were clean or blended, applying it with a little balm and it’s hydrating and sheer.

Burberry Beauty was born from the versatility of the classic Burberry trench and the unpredictable British weather.

“Like the trench coat, it can be worn anywhere… You’ve got the natural [colours] from the trench coats and, from the weather, you’ve got these beautiful stormy greys and stormy blues. Then, when the sun comes out, you’ve got this glow and you’ve got lighter tones as well.” – Christopher Bailey

All Burberry shows feature products from all four seasons, designed for its global audience.

The company was founded in 1879 by Thomas Burberry who invented gabardine, a weatherproof cotton fabric, this revolutionized rainwear.

Apart from this lipstick, Burberry’s Full Brows is my go-to eyebrow product. What of theirs have you tried? I feel as though I’m going to have to expand my Burberry cosmetics collection and it would be awesome to have some recommendations!
